The short French video below shows a vehicle using a Mono Lane and how the tag functions - these are always at the left had side of the Toll Plazas (if they are available at that Plaza). To use the service all you need to do is register online, choose the type of tag you want and we will send you a small electronic transponder (or tag). Once you receive the Tag you simply attach it to your windscreen just behind the rear-view mirror as shown below. As you approach the barriers, a device by the barrier will read your transponder (or tag), securely extract your unique reference and then automatically open the barrier without you having to stop.
You will receive a fully itemised invoice the following month for your tolls on or around the 10th of the month and then we collect on the last business day of the month by direct debit in £(GBP) from your UK bank account.
